Samsung Galaxy Core Plus sports a spacious 4.3" TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (217 ppi pixel density). The screen looks bright and clear. The viewing angles are fairly good. Swiping through menus can be done smoothly, thanks to its responsive touchscreen. It’s even better with the support of multitouch feature. The display is also equipped with Accelerometer and Proximity sensor.
The phone uses Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system. For the performance it counts on a Dual-core 1.2 GHz processor. It works fine in handling various tasks. 4 GB of internal storage seems to be too limited for a smartphone. But you shouldn’t worry much since you can still add external memory card (by up to 64 GB) to expand the storage capacity. The connectivity features comprise of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot; Bluetooth; NFC; and microUSB v2.0. The Galaxy Core Plus also offers optional dual SIM card support. It will be useful when you have more than one contact number. It is more practical.
A 5 MP camera is attached on the back of the phone. It features autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, and video recording capability. It does a good job in capturing images. There is also a secondary VGA camera on the front panel that can be used to take self-portraits. If your Samsung Galaxy Core Plus freezes or hangs, you may need to close programs or reset the device to regain functionality. If your device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Power button for 6-8 seconds. The device reboots automatically.
If this does not solve the problem, perform a factory data reset. On the Applications screen, tap Settings → Backup and reset → Factory data reset → Reset device → Erase everything.
