The SX40 HS is equipped with a 2.7-inch Vari-angle LCD for better shooting flexibility; a 24mm ultra Wide-Angle Lens; built-in Flash; connectors including USB 2.0, Video Out (NTSC/PAL), Audio; and supports for SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Card. Supported file formats are: Still Image: Exif 2.3 (JPEG); Video: MOV (Image: H.264; Audio: Linear PCM). The camera uses rechargeable Battery NB-10L as the power source.
