Samsung Wave 3 GT S8600 Specifications and Features

Samsung Wave 3 GT S8600 has a large 4.0” Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (480 x 800 pixels resolution) with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, TouchWiz UI, Multitouch, Handwriting recognition, Accelerometer and Proximity sensor. It uses Bada OS v2.0, that works along with 1.4 GHz Scorpion CPU. To store your data and files, it provides 4 GB internal storage and microSD card support up to 32GB. The connectivity features consist of: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, UMA, Wi-Fi hotspot; Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, EDR; and microUSB v2.0. For the camera, you’ll find 5 MP camera with autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection, image stabilization, touch focus, and video recording capability. A secondary VGA camera is also available on the front side.

Reset Samsung Wave 3 GT S8600 to Restore Factory Settings

Samsung Wave 3 GT S8600 Reset Button If in case your Samsung Wave 3 GT S8600 freezes or hangs, you may need to close programs or reset the device to regain functionality. If your device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Power key for 8-10 seconds and release. The device will reboot automatically. (see picture)

But if this action does not solve the problem, you can perform a factory data reset. To do so, in Menu mode, select Settings General Reset → (choose one of the following options):

  • Reset settings: Reset various settings to the factory default values. Select which settings to reset. You must enter your device password to reset the settings.
  • Factory reset: Reset your settings to the factory default values and delete all your data. You must enter your device password.

(after choosing one of the above option) → Yes Yes.

If you forget your password, bring your device to a Samsung Service Centre to reset it.
