HP Pavilion dm1z is an 11-inch notebook armored with AMD’s new Fusion processor (combining 1.6-GHz AMD E-350 CPU and AMD Radeon HD 6310 GPU on one chip); 3 GB of RAM; and 320 GB / 7,200 rpm hard drive. For the operating system, it uses MS Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). This notebook has a chiclet-style keyboard which is comfortable to use and the Altec Lansing speakers on the front lip (enhanced with Dolby Advanced Audio) are able to produce good quality sound.
The dm1z is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n; Bluetooth 2.1; 3 USB Ports; HDMI port; VGA, a headphone/mic combo, and an SD card reader. It applies HP’s CoolSense technology which automatically adjusts the notebook’s thermal settings.
