Acer Predator 8 is an Android tablet with decent specifications. Unfortunately, it supports Wi-Fi only. There’s no SIM card slots so you can’t take advantage of any data plans. The tablet sports an 8.0″ IPS LCD display that dominates the front panel. It has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (283 ppi pixel density) which is pretty good for its size. The colors look lively and the images has good level pf details. You also get wider viewing angles. The touchscreen is responsive and already equipped with multitouch. You can swipe through menus smoothly. The onscreen keyboard is spacious and has good accuracy.

Acer Predator 8 runs on Android v5.0 (Lollipop) operating system. Under the hood, a quad-core 1.6 GHz processor works together with 2 GB of RAM. It delivers decent processing speed. Apps can be launched properly and the transition between menus is smooth. There’s no serious delay that can stop you from working. Multitasking shouldn’t be a problem for this device. Since it doesn’t support SIM card, you may feel a bit restricted when you need to work online while being outdoor. The tablet offers 32/64 GB of internal storage (optional) to accommodate your files. You can also add external memory card up to 256 GB as extra space. There are standard connectivity features including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n; Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, LE; and microUSB v2.0.

 
The tablet has a primary 5 MP camera on the back of its body. It features geotagging and video recording capability. It’s a modest camera but it has enough quality to produce decent images. The results are not disappointing for social media purpose. On the front panel, you can find a secondary 2 MP camera. It’s a good addition for a tablet although it’s not the best front-facing camera in its class. It’s fairly reliable for video calling or taking selfies. 1. From Main Menu go to Settings.
2. Find Backup and Reset option.
3. Select Factory Data Reset.
4. Tap Reset Device.
5. Select Erase Everything.
