Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 Specifications and Features
Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 is available in 3G and 4G LTE version, with also an optional Dual SIM card support. It comes with a slightly larger screen than its predecessor. The Ace 3 sports a spacious 4.0 TFT capacitive touchscreen which features Multitouch support, Accelerometer, and Proximity sensor. Having a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (233 ppi pixel density), the screen is able to display good quality images and accurate colors. You can also enjoy better viewing angles. Unfortunately, readability is not too good under direct sunlight.
The Ace 3 performs decent speed for multi-tasking with the support of Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor (3G) / Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor (LTE), Broadcom VideoCore IV GPU, and 1 GB of RAM. Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system runs smoothly in this phone. Obviously it’s not a speed demon, but most apps can be launched without any serious problems. To store your data and files, this device provides 4 GB (3G) / 8 GB (LTE) of internal storage. The storage capacity can be expanded by using additional memory card up to 64 GB. For the connectivity, you’ll have a lot of options including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot; Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP; microUSB v2.0; and NFC (for LTE model).
You’ll be able to capture good quality pictures and shoot 720 p video with the phone’s 5 MP rear camera. It may not be too special, but the camera is good enough for a handset. Some features like autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, face and smile detection, and panorama are included to support the camera. On the front panel, there is a front-facing VGA camera that can be used for video calling.
The Ace 3 still has many other features to offer including GPS with A-GPS support and GLONASS; Stereo FM radio with RDS; Digital compass; Email; Push Email; Instant Messaging; HTML5; XviD/MP4/H.264/H.263 player; MP3/WAV/eAAC+/FLAC player; Organizer; Document viewer; Image editor; Google Search; Maps; Gmail; YouTube; Calendar; Google Talk; Picasa; Voice memo/dial; Predictive text input (Swype); and more.
