Nokia N96 is the successor of Nokia N95. As the Nokia N95, this phone is a 2-way slide design with dedicated gaming/audio keys. It is equipped with 2.8" TFT LCD display that has 240 x 320 pixels resolution and built-in accelerometer for UI auto-rotation. It includes a 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and a VGA camera in front of the phone as well. You can also play music files that you can easily download via Nokia Web. The Nokia N96 is also equipped with a motion sensor like the N82 and it can automatically rotate the screen when the user switches. How to Reset Nokia N96 to Restore Factory Default Settings
There are two different ways you can format/reset Nokia N96.
1. Format/Hard Reset Nokia N96 Memory
You can format/hard reset the phone memory by entering the following keys combination *#7370# on your standby screen and then reconfirming with your phone lock code, which by default is 12345 unless it has been changed.
2. Factory Data Reset Nokia N96
With the phone powered off, depress and hold these three keys simultaneously "*" "3" "green phone" and then power on phone using the on/off button whilst keeping the three keys depressed until you hear start-up tone.
