Microsoft Surface RT sports a large 10.6” TFT capacitive touchscreen which is equipped with Multitouch support up to 5 fingers, ClearType technology, Accelerometer sensor, Gyroscope, and Compass sensor. The screen has 1366 x 768 pixels resolution, which means you will be able to watch HD video on this screen. As reflected from its name, this tablet runs Microsoft Windows RT Operating System. To run the system and other apps it relies on a Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A9 processor which works together with ULP GeForce GPU and 2 GB RAM.
The Surface RT offers 32/64 GB built-in storage (optional) and supports memory card up to 64 GB. You will have a lot of space to store your data and multimedia files. The connectivity features comprise of: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct (dual-band); USB v2.0, USB Host support; and Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP. How to Hard Reset Microsoft Surface RT?
You can hard reset your Microsoft Surface RT to restore the default factory settings, remove everything and reinstall Windows. Warning: All your personal files will be deleted and your settings will be reset. Be sure to back up all of your files before proceeding. Apps that came with your Surface will be automatically reinstalled, but you’ll need to reinstall your other apps using the steps below. To hard reset your Surface:
- Open the Settings charm, then tap Change PC settings.
- Tap or click General.
- Under Remove everything and reinstall Windows, tap or click Get started, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
Note You’ll be asked whether you want to erase data quickly or thoroughly. If you choose to quickly erase data, some data might be recoverable using special software (not included with Surface). If you choose to thoroughly erase data, the process will take longer but recovering data is far less likely. After your Surface is reset, you’ll need to reinstall your Windows Store apps.
