Acer Liquid E1 Specifications and Review
A large 4.5” IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen is definitely one of the best parts of the Acer Liquid E1. With that size, you’ll have plenty of room to type on the on-screen keyboard. It also means more comfort in operating various apps via the touchscreen. The screen has a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (245 ppi pixel density). That’s not bad at all. You’ll be able to view decent quality videos and photos on it. The touchscreen is quite responsive so you can navigate through menus and launch the apps smoothly. Other features that support the display are Multitouch support, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and Proximity sensor.
The Liquid E1 runs on Android v4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) with the support of Dual-core 1 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM. To store your data and files, the phone provides 4 GB built-in storage. You can also add external memory card up to 32 GB to expand the storage capacity. Connectivity options are quite various including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot; Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, EDR; NFC (single SIM model only); and microUSB v2.0. The Liquid E1 also offers Dual SIM card support (optional). This is another advantage that you can get from the phone since it allows you to use two different SIM cards simultaneously.
A decent 5 MP camera is attached on the back of the phone. It has some standard features like autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging and video recording capability. You can take good quality pictures with this camera, although the quality may decrease under low light condition. You will also be able to shoot video up to 720p@30fps. On the front panel, there is a VGA camera that can be used for video calling. The Liquid E1 still has many other to offer such as: GPS with A-GPS support; FM radio; Email; Push Email; HTML; SNS integration; Google Search; Maps; Gmail; YouTube; Google Talk; Picasa; MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ player; MP4/H.264/H.263 player; Organizer; Document editor; Voice memo; Voice dial; Predictive text input (Swype); and more.
