Sony Xperia C Specifications and Features

Sony Xperia C boasts a huge 5.0” TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (220 ppi pixel density). The quality of the display is pretty standard. You may expect higher resolution for such a large display, but it’s still acceptable. It has good brightness and visibility. The touchscreen is quite responsive and fun to use, especially with the support of Multitouch feature (up to 4 fingers). Standard features like Accelerometer and Proximity sensor are also included. The Xperia C runs on Android v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system. Everything works pretty well and smoothly with the support of a powerful quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor. The processor is paired with PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. 4 GB of internal storage seems to be too limited for a smartphone nowadays. Fortunately, you can add external memory card (by up to 32 GB) to expand the storage capacity. For the connectivity, the phone includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot; Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP; and microUSB v2.0. A dual SIM card support is another advantage since you can use two different phone numbers simultaneously.

An 8 MP camera is attached on the back of the phone. It features autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, HDR, and video recording capability (up to 1080p) with video stabilization. There is also a secondary VGA camera on the front panel that can be used for video calling. Other features that you can find in the Xperia C are: Digital compass; Email; Instant Messaging; Push Email; HTML5; Stereo FM radio with RDS; GPS with A-GPS support; SNS integration; MP4/H.263/H.264 player; MP3/eAAC+/WAV player; Document viewer; Photo viewer/editor; Voice memo/dial; Predictive text input; and more.

Dimensions: 141.5 x 74.2 x 8.9 mm (5.57 x 2.92 x 0.35 in)
Weight: 153 g (5.40 oz)
