Samsung Galaxy Portal (GT-I5700) has 3.2” TFT capacitive touchscreen with 320 x 480 pixels resolution. The display features Accelerometer for auto screen rotation. The phone is installed with Android OS v1.5 (Cupcake)/ v2.1 (Eclair), which works along with the 800MHz CPU. It only provides 180 MB of internal storage, but you can still expand the storage capacity using microSD card (up to 32GB). The connectivity features consist of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g; Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP; and microUSB v2.0. Portal is also equipped with 3.15 MP camera which features autofocus, Geo-tagging, and video recording capability. There is no secondary camera in this phone.

Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy Portal GT-I5700

You can perform a hard reset procedures on your Samsung Galaxy Portal GT-I5700 to restore the default factory settings. It is recommended to back up all important data before performing the hard reset procedures. Hard reset removes all installed applications and data stored in your device and resets all settings back to factory preconfigured settings. But this will not reset the selected language.

To hard reset your Samsung Galaxy Portal GT-I5700:

  • From the Home screen, open the application list and select Settings Privacy Factory data reset Reset phone Erase everything.
