Samsung Galaxy Core Specifications and Features

Samsung Galaxy Core offers a spacious 4.3” TFT capacitive touchscreen that will give you more comfort in typing and better viewing angles. The screen looks fine with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels resolution (217 ppi pixel density), but you may not be able to watch superb quality videos or images on it. It displays accurate colors and has fairly good readability. Multitouch support, Accelerometer, and Proximity sensor are also included. The phone is made of glossy plastic, nothing special on its visual. The good thing is that it has nice curved corners that make it more comfortable to hold.

Android v4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system is installed in the Galaxy Core. For the performance, it counts on a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor that works together with Adreno 203 graphics, and 1 GB of RAM. It has decent processing speed although you may notice some lags, especially when some apps are running in the background. It can handle casual games, like Angry Birds, smoothly. 8 GB of internal storage is available to accommodate your data and files. You can also use external memory card up to 64 GB to expand the storage capacity. For the connectivity options, you will find Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot; Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP; and microUSB v2.0. The Galaxy Core is also available with Dual SIM card support.

A 5 MP camera is attached on the back of the phone. It is equipped with some features like autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, panorama mode, burst mode and video recording capability. The photos are good enough, though there is a bit of noise. On the front panel you will also find a secondary VGA camera for video chats or self-portraits.

Hard Reset Samsung Galaxy Core to Restore Factory Settings

You can perform a hard reset procedures on your Samsung Galaxy Core. Note that this procedures erase all your data, installed applications and restore the phone setting to the factory defaults. It is strongly recommended to back up all your data before performing the hard reset procedures.
