Linksys E1500 Specifications and Features

The Linksys E1500 has a flat shape and internal-antenna design. The router is suitable for basic home networking. You can connect your computers, wireless printers, smartphones, and other wireless devices at up to 300 Mbps transfer speed. It is equipped with four LAN ports for wired network devices and one WAN port for connecting to an Internet source, such as a cable modem. Unfortunately, there’s no USB port in this device.

Hard Reset Linksys E1500 to Restore Original Factory Settings

Linksys E1500 Reset Button You can reset your Linksys E1500 by pressing and holding the reset button for 5-10 seconds (until the port lights flash at the same time) to reset the router to its factory defaults. The reset button is located at the bottom of the device.


To hard reset your router to factory defaults using the browser-based utility:

  • Log into the browser-based utility.
  • Click the Administration tab, then click the Factory Defaults page.
  • Click Restore Factory Defaults.
  • Click OK
