HTC Velocity 4G Specifications and Features
HTC Velocity looks pretty attractive with a beautiful 4.5” S-LCD display. It has a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (245 ppi pixel density), which is good enough for its size. The large capacitive touchscreen allows you to type more comfortably on its virtual keyboard. It is quite responsive so you’ll be able to execute different tasks on the phone easily. The multitouch support makes it even more interesting. The display is also equipped with HTC Sense UI v3.5, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and Proximity sensor.
The Velocity is installed with Android v2.3.7 (Gingerbread) operating system. It can be upgraded to v4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich). A dual-core 1.5 GHz Scorpion processor works together with Adreno 220 GPU and 1 GB of RAM to power the phone. For the storage, it offers 16 GB built-in memory (13 GB user available). To expand the storage capacity, you can use external memory card up to 32 GB. The connectivity features comprise of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot; DLNA; Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP; and microUSB v2.0 (MHL). With 4G LTE support, it also offers faster data connection.
An 8 MP camera sits on the back of the phone. This is the main camera. It features autofocus, dual-LED flash, Geo-tagging, touch focus, image stabilization, face detection, and video recording capability (1080p@60fps, 1080p@30fps). You can find a secondary 1.3 MP camera on the front panel which can be used for video calling. Hard Reset HTC Velocity 4G
- From the Home screen, press , and then tap Settings.
- Tap Storage > Factory data reset.
- Tap Reset phone, and then tap Erase everything.
If you can’t turn HTC Velocity 4G on or access settings, you can still perform a factory
reset by using the hardware buttons on HTC Velocity 4G.
- Remove the battery, wait for a few seconds, then reinsert the battery.
- Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button.
- Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button.
- Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the POWER button.
