Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 Specifications and Features

Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 has 10.1” LED-backlit IPS LCD, capacitive touchscreen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, Accelerometer and Gyro sensor. This tablet is installed with Android OS v3.0 Honeycomb (upgradable to v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich) and powered by Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, ULP GeForce GPU, and 1 GB RAM. It offers 16/32 GB of internal storage (optional) and allows storage expansion through microSD card.

The connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n; Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, EDR; and USB v2.0. For the camera, it has 5 MP camera with autofocus, Geo-tagging, and video recording capability. A secondary 1.2 MP camera is also attached on the front side of the phone. This tablet is special because it can transform into notebook mode with keyboard mobile docking. The docking station also extends the Transformer’s battery life up to 16 hours.

Hard Reset Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101

You can reset your Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 to restore the factory default settings. There are two different ways to do the reset procedures, via Power Button and via Reset Hole.

Reset Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 via Power Button:

  1. Make sure your Eee PC is powered off.
  2. Remove the AC Power adapter (if connected).
  3. Flip the unit over and remove the battery.
  4. Press and hold your power button for 15 – 25 seconds. Release the power button. Put the battery back in place and try to start.

Reset Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 via Reset Hole:

  1. Make sure your Eee PC is powered off.
  2. Remove the AC Power adapter (if connected).
  3. Flip the unit over and remove the battery.
  4. Locate the Reset Hole on the bottom (see picture for detailed location of reset button) of the Eee PC; press down into the reset hole for approximately 10 seconds (A small paperclip or other fine pointed device should fit in the reset hole). After the 10 seconds are up, reconnect the battery and AC Power Adapter (if necessary) and turn on your Eee PC.
