Acer Iconia Tab A511 Specifications and Features

Acer Iconia Tab A511 features 10.1” TFT capacitive touchscreen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, Multitouch, Accelerometer, Gyro and Proximity sensor. Android OS v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is installed in this tablet and works along with Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A9 processor, ULP GeForce GPU, and 1 GB RAM. The Iconia A511 comes with 16/32 GB internal storage (optional) and you can still expand the storage capacity by using microSD card (up to 32 GB).

The connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot; Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, EDR; and microUSB v2.0. 5 MP camera is attached on this phone along with some features such as autofocus, Geo-tagging, and video recording capability. It also has a secondary 1 MP camera on the front side.

Format and Reset Acer Iconia Tab A511

You may have to perform a reset if your tablet fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped. To reset your tablet use a small thin object such as a paperclip to press the recessed reset button (see image for the location of reset button) next to the multi-function connector.

You can also format (clean boot) your Acer Iconia Tab A511 to restore the factory default settings. Warning! This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your tablet and any programs you installed. To format or clean boot your device: open Settings from the application menu, then tap Backup & reset > Factory data reset; click Reset tablet and then Erase everything to format your tablet.
