Factory Reset Nokia 5800 XpressMusic to Restore Default Settings

You can reset your Nokia 5800 XpressMusic to restore the default/original settings by following below instruction:

Select Menu > Settings and Phone > Phone mgmt. > Factory settings.

You can reset some of the settings to their original values. To do this, you need the lock code. The default lock code is 12345. If you forget the lock code, contact your device dealer. After resetting, the device may take a longer time to power on. Documents and files are unaffected.
