HTC Desire U Specifications and Features
HTC Desire U comes with a beautiful design and a spacious 4.0” Super LCD capacitive touchscreen. It has round corners that make it more comfortable to hold. The screen has 480 x 800 pixels resolution (233 ppi pixel density), which is pretty standard for its size. It looks bright and colorful. The touchscreen is responsive and fun to use. It’s even better with the support of Multitouch feature. Standard features like Accelerometer and Proximity sensor are also included.
Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system is installed in this phone. A 1 GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM will be responsible for its performance. Thankfully, there is memory card slot that enables you to add extra space (by up to 32 GB). The Desire U is equipped with dual SIM card support that can accommodate two different cards simultaneously. The connectivity features consist of: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot; Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP; NFC; and microUSB v2.0.
On the back of the phone, there is a decent 5 MP camera that can capture good quality pictures. The camera has standard features like autofocus, LED flash, and video recording capability. Unfortunately, this is the only camera available. The Desire U doesn’t include a secondary front-facing camera. Other features that can be found in this phone are: Email; Push Email; HTML; SNS integration; Beats Audio sound enhancement; MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV player; MP3/eAAC+/WMA/WAV player; Google Search; Maps; Gmail; YouTube; Calendar; Google Talk; Organizer; Document viewer; Photo viewer/editor; Voice memo/dial; Predictive text input; and more.
